As a CPD accredited learning provider, we have a range of Optum Learn courses, including EMIS-X, that can progress your professional development.

Follow these steps to reset your password if you are already logged in:

  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select Change password.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Courses are individual learning spaces that contain activities and resources.

Activities can range from interactive elements, videos and documentation.

Some activities will require you to complete an assessment, whereas other require you to simply view the activity to complete it.

The completion status will state ‘Completed’ next to the activity.

Badges are a good way of celebrating achievement and showing progress. Badges may be awarded based on a variety of chosen criteria and may be displayed on a user's profile.

Courses will show as recommended based on previous enrolment and any interests shown on your profile.

Interests are a selection of tags places against courses or activities.

These can be related to job role or subject matter and can be added to the user profile.

Bookmarked courses are any courses you have bookmarked on the ‘All courses’ page.

  1. Go to All courses.
  2. Use filters to narrow down selection.

  1. Click View course.
  2. Review course information.
  3. Click Enrol me.

A webinar is an interactive, web-based teaching event, where a speaker or multiple speakers deliver a video presentation to a large group of attendees.

If you miss a webinar, they are all available to view on our recorded training sessions page.

This will be a registration email that a member of your organisation has requested on your behalf.

They will have determined that Optum Learn would be useful for your job role.

Yes, if you have created your account using an email still accessible to you (for example NHS mail or personal account).
  1. Click on your profile image at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Select Edit profile.
  4. Change the details within the ‘Email-based self-registration’ section.
  5. Select Save.
Unfortunately, if you are unable to access the email address you used to sign up with, we are unable to transfer your details to another account. You will need to create a new account.
